Jeffrey Kratz

Bourhan Yassin has deep roots in both the tech and conservation sectors. With over two decades of experience, he led large-scale Operations and Engineering teams in several Bay Area companies including Powis and Zazzle. He also steered the Dubai e-commerce giant, MarkaVIP, as its long-time COO before dedicating his life to conservation with Rainforest Connection (RFCx).
Over the past seven years, Bourhan has been pivotal in evolving Rainforest Connection. He actively represented RFCx at key events, directly deployed RFCx Technology on the ground, and assembled a talented and diverse team from all over the world. Recognized as one of the 2023 Google.org Leaders to Watch, he’s the driving force behind RFCx’s mission and has led the organization from concept to reality in 35 countries to date.

This event is not an AWS services focused event, and so we encourage developers, engineers, and architects to explore AWS events that feature builder content.

AWS has an entire team dedicated to helping nonprofits succeed. This event will showcase ways to leverage the programs and resources available to better achieve your mission-critical initiatives with Amazon and AWS.

No. Registration and attendance is no-cost for this event.

No, however, a select number of sessions will be recorded and available via on demand viewing after the event ends.

Many services are available upon request, including American Sign Language (ASL), assistive listening, and dispersed and designated seating. To request one of these services or a service you don't see listed, please contact us.

Will AWS validate my parking or reimburse my transportation costs?
A: We will provide parking validation for the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City parking lot, a 5-minute flat walk from Amazon HQ2 (1201 S Hayes Street Arlington, VA 22202 for your GPS). Parking validation tickets will be provided from the on-site registration desk. View additional parking details.
No other parking validation will be provided. AWS does not reimburse any other associated travel costs.
